Guide
Turn YouTube Videos into Posts with Aria
Use Aria to repurpose YouTube videos into written content that sounds like you. This guide shows a concrete, repeatable workflow you can run in minutes.
1. Pick the right video
Start with a video you either created or strongly agree with: a talk, a webinar, a podcast clip, or a favourite explainer. If the video already reflects what you want your brand to stand for, Aria can help you bring that same message into a post.
Shorter videos (< 20 minutes) usually work best for a single post. For longer sessions, think in “chapters” and pick one clear takeaway at a time.
2. Paste the YouTube URL into Aria
In Grolynk, use the **YouTube URL** path in Aria. Paste the video link and give Aria a moment to understand the content.
Behind the scenes, Aria turns the transcript and structure into a draft that matches your profile and tone, instead of copying the video word-for-word. You get a post that feels like your summary, not a generic recap.
3. Decide on the angle before you edit
Before you edit, decide what job this post should do for your brand. For example:
- Share a key insight from the video.
- Tell a story or lesson from one moment.
- Give a practical takeaway your audience can try.
With that angle in mind, adjust the opening line and closing line first. The middle of the post can stay close to what Aria suggested; the intro and outro are where your brand voice should be the clearest.
4. Make the post sound like a conversation
Read the draft out loud. Anywhere it feels stiff, change it to how you'd say it to a friend or client. Aria gives you a strong starting point; a couple of lines in your own words is often enough to make the post feel genuinely yours.
If something feels off, you can ask Aria to adjust tone (more direct, more friendly, more concise) instead of rewriting from scratch.
5. Add a simple call to action
Every post doesn't need a hard CTA, but a light next step keeps your brand moving:
- Ask a question related to the video's topic.
- Invite readers to share their own experience.
- Point to another piece of content if it adds context.
Keep it one line, clear, and natural. The goal is to start a conversation, not to sell in every post.
6. Save time by batching
Once you're comfortable with the flow, you can reuse it:
- Pick 2–3 videos you like.
- Run each through the YouTube URL path in Aria.
- Spend a few minutes on intros/outros and tone, then schedule the posts.
In one short session you'll have multiple posts scheduled, all tied to content you already believe in.
